Viña Quebrada de Macul is a "boutique" winery, at the foot of the Andes, and one of the 3 remaining wineries of Santiago city. With no more than 30 ha planted with with mainly Cabernet Sauvignon, VQM produce around 8.000 cases a year, which can explain the difficulty in finding its wines. Much known for its award wining Domus Aurea Cab. Sauv. (first vintage released in 1996), VQM kept surprising by systematically scoring as one of the top 5 Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile (see WineSpectators ratings)
