Viking Wines is one of the youngest and smallest enterprises based in the Barossa Valley. It's premium red-clay vineyards produce a miniscule 2000 cases per year. These top-quality wines are few and far between. The low yields are the product of 50+-year-old organically dry-grown vines. These big ful-flavoursome reds have been noticed internationally for many years and have received consistent top reviews by most influential wine critics such as Robert Parker Jr., Steve Tanzer and James Halliday coming into the class of "Outstanding". Viking Wines are sleek and smooth, full-bodied with concentrated black fruit, silky soft tannins, with well-rounded lengthy finishes. The wines have good ageworthiness due to the power of it's fruit and high alcohol.
