Tiefenbrunner

Entiklar is situated in the southern part of South Tyrol (Unterland), where the wine road winds gently through the most attractive vineyards in the region. In this small hamlet, belonging to the village of Kurtatsch, blessed with a centuries-old tradition of winegrowing, there is a castle dating from the 12th century. This, together with the family name to the wine estate, Tiefenbrunner Castel Turmhof. The loamy, chalky soils and the Mediterranean climate – characterised by a moderate rainfall and a cool evening wind, which produces considerable differences between day and night temperatures – result in the perfect ripening of the cellars where they lend the wine its unmistakable character. A peculiarity of the Tiefenbrunner Castel Turmhof wine estate is the Müller Thurgau “Feldmarschall von Fenner”, cultivated at 1.000 meters above sea level. Viticulture at this altitude is unique Europe.
