You might wonder how an aviator, a nurse, and a scientist end up in the wine industry. We have no family links or history with winemaking, nor do we come from the land. But maybe these are some of the very reasons. We often sat sipping a nice Cabernet or Riesling and commented, "Wouldn't it be great to be sitting here drinking our own wine". The idea enthralled us, and a challenging new adventure was born. After years of reading, research, and many hours talking to people in the industry we decided to ignore all their good advice and "have a go". On the move constantly via the aviation industry Tony and Sheilagh have lived in several countries and different states within Australia. However our decision to plant a vineyard and start a wine label has led us back to Sheilagh's home estate, South Australia.
