With the experience gained since 1964 in the production and aging of fine wines, Santiago García Ijalba left in 1998 general and technical management of a historic winery in Haro to launch his own personal project. It creates BODEGAS VIÑA HERMOSA , in the small town of Gimileo, with Ollauri and just four kilometers from Haro, the "capital of Rioja wine" and his hometown. Now the winery, maintaining a familiar character, is supported Ijalba Roberto Perez, whose concerns oenological particular inclination toward avant-garde trends evident in the character of some of the wines produced.
