Our winery has a long-standing tradition of dedicated grape-growing families, some of whom are 4th generation growers. Today, no less than 35 families, cultivating some 1900 hectares of vine, take pride in contributing to the success of our winery. Working in close partnership with our viticulturist, Briaan Stipp, they are committed to identifying the vineyard sites best suited to specific cultivars and to nurturing the grapes to optimum flavour and varietal character.

- Robertson Winery Sauvignon Blanc 2008 Robertson (75cl)
A fresh, dry and intensely fruity varietal Sauvignon Blanc. Robertson Valley is situated further inland than most in South Africa, where the daytime climate is hot and dry, but the nights are cool. These growing conditions enhance the zesty gooseberry flavours so common in Sauvignon Blanc.

Established in 1943, Robertson Winery is now one of the largest estates in South Africa boasting a hugely diverse terroir thus creating an exciting range of wine styles. A beautiful deep red in colour with a smooth full bodied style. A forwardly fruity body is enhanced by rich mulberry, plum and cassis fruits supported by subtle soft tannins.
