Revolution Wines is a winery located in midtown Sacramento -- 2116 P Street (behind 2114 P Street). No, we are not a wine bar, although we have a tasting room. Yes, Revolution Wines is a winery – we receive grapes from our growers, we crush, ferment and age the wine on site, pretty cool eh? We named our winery Revolution Wines because we think that the big players in the wine industry have positioned wine as an exclusive luxury good. Wine, we feel, is a good for all to enjoy. To that end, our mission is to produce an accessable, top-notch distinctive wine. Producing high-quality distinctive wine is what we do at Revolution Wines. We buy our grapes from the best regions grown by established growers. For example we buy our Zinfandel from Joe Aparicio in the Amador County AVA and Cabernet Sauvignan from Blackwood Vineyards in Napa Valley. We press our grapes using state-of-the-art Italian-made Puelo press and age the wine only in French Oak barrels.
