Winemaker Andrew Pirie was Australia's first PhD in viticulture and this is borne out in the spectacular quality of this fresh, delicate red. Red cherry and raspberry notes complement the brooding dark cherry aromas typical from this vineyard. A wonderful fruit intensity and structure means the wine can be aged for over a decade in order to develop the exciting, gamey complexities sought after in top Pinot Noirs.
