Perry Creek Winery Winery

Perry Creek Winery

The winery's 40 acres of premium vineyards are located in Fair Play Appellation. Decomposed granite soils and a balanced microclimate at a 2,500 foot average elevation allow us to produce premium grapes with the distinct flavor of the foothills. Our Fair Play Farms vineyard, planted in 1999, is one of the best in the entire Sierra Foothills. The grape growing sites in this vineyard were chosen to bring out the best quality in each varietal and all of the vines are pruned by hand. The first crops were dropped to increase vigor in the plant and to promote better fruit. All rootstocks and clones were matched to the unique soil situations in every block, creating the most distinction in the produced wines. Perry Creek’s winemaking team of Garrett Buckland, Stefan Tscheppe and Jonathan Pack combines experience from Napa, Austria and the Foothills. They share a vineyard driven approach, developing a personality and character for each wine they produce. At the same time they incorporate the typicity of the varietal and the unique flavors of the different vintages. The unique, complex and elegant flavors representing Perry Creek Winery and the Terroir of the appellation have earned us 90Pts+ ratings in Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast and many other competitions.
