Employing the expertise of winemaker Vanessa Carson, the Leaping Lizard team take the utmost pride in producing a refreshing blend of distinctive wines destined to tantalize the taste buds. Since the age of 15, Vanessa has pursued her passion for what has proven to be a successful career in the wine industry. Winning the annual Talijancich / Radoux Prize at university paved the way for Vanessa to experience vintages in the Medoc and Bordeaux. She then continued to gain international knowledge in other regions of France, Italy and Germany. Vanessa has worked in most wine making regions in WA and is proud to be part of Leaping Lizard wines which are made under contract at Ferngrove Winery. Ferngrove’s Winery has been awarded five stars for the second year running in James Halliday’s bestselling guide to Australian wines. The team environment and quality of the fruit is what drives Vanessa in crafting modern, vibrant wines that are full of life and capture the heart of the Leaping Lizard Brand.
