Lawer Family Wines is a limited production, niche market winery producing award winning wines from the Napa and Sonoma valleys. Our 106 acre private valley with it's old farmhouse and field stone chimney, just outside Calistoga, has 20 acres of Syrah, Viognier, Pt Sirah and Chardonnay. Great wines are made in the vineyard. We're delighted to have John Pina and his team from Pina Vineyard Management overseeing our vines. John shares our philosophy that it's no fun to do something unless you can do it well. As a measure of his success, our fruit is now going into bottles, with winemakers' names on them, that have earned a 90 pt Wine Spectator rating and gold medals. Overlaying the efforts of John Pina are those of our winemaker, Larry Levin - a winemaking "dream team" as far as we are concerned. Larry has extensive national and international experience, as well as having seen his wines grace covers of Wine Spectator. Cheers! David and Betsy Lawer
