Geoff Merrill has been making wines under his own label since 1982, in that time he has amassed an enviable record at Australian and International wine shows winning 27 Trophies, 143 Gold and 377 Silver medals, including the coveted Jimmy Watson Trophy with the yet to be released 2004 Reserve Shiraz and Great Australian Shiraz Challenge with his 2002 Reserve Shiraz .
