Fermoy Estate Winery

Fermoy Estate

We produce the highest quality medal award winning wines from our vineyards located in the world class Margaret River wine region. You can browse and order a selection of wines directly from the website, the Fermoy Estate is also available for weddings and special functions, plus a most comfortable and well appointed accommodation cottage set amongst the vines and lake that sleeps up to 8 persons. Fermoy's unique cottage is built amongst its award winning Semillon vines. It overlooks the Estate's lake and has a native timbered creek flowing at its doorstep. It is beautifully appointed with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, kitchen/dining, lounge and laundry. All amenities are fully provided with a touch of Fermoy style. It is ideally suited as a base to explore all the Margaret River tourist attractions - wineries, beaches, caves and galleries to name just a few. The cottage was originally built 20 years ago as a private escape for the Estate's first owners. It is both functional and comfortable with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (1 en-suite), a cosy lounge with open fireplace, and a big kitchen/dining room. It is also equipped with a portable gas BBQ, on a wisteria-shaded verandah. The winery was originally built in 1987 to crush 100 tonnes and has since expanded to a capacity of 500 tonnes, processing both estate grown fruit, and also contract winemaking for other Margaret River growers. The winery incorporates the latest technology, but still retains Old World traditional winemaking practices. The grapes are handpicked only in the cool of the early morning and processed immediately to retain their freshness.
