Dylan

Dylan's Run Vineyard is named after our grandson Dylan who, as a small child, enjoyed running down the vineyard rows. We are a small, family owned vineyard located in the foothills of southwest Eugene, Oregon in the South Willamette Valley. Dylan's Run Vineyard grows two classic varieties of Pinot noir wine grapes, Wadenswill and Pommard. Our pinot noir enjoys the warmer upper slopes of our vineyard site. The lower hillside of our farm features the popular cool climate wine grape varieties Muller Thurgau and White Riesling. In 2003 we released our first estate grown Oregon pinot noir to a very warm welcome. We followed this up with a 2006 Pinot noir. Our pinot noir wines are made from a special block of Wadenswill and Pommard wine grapes that we give special attention to in efforts to make a highly enjoyable wine. All of our wines are handcrafted and certified sustainable. Dylan's Run Vineyard has been certified sustainable since 2001. We continually strive to improve the quality of our fruit through the use of sustainable farming practices. These practices involve avoiding the unnecessary use of chemicals, encouraging nourishing cover crops, and using low impact farming methods on the land. These standards of farming enable us to produce high quality fruit while preserving the health of the vineyard and offering a healthier product to those who enjoy our wines.
