  Firm-structured, with aromas of blackcurrants, cedar and spice, and classy oak at the finish. Roast lamb wine. We've found Château du Glana to be a reliable supplier of outstanding value clarets to challenge its illustrious neighbours in St.Julien, Châteaux Ducru Beaucaillou and Léoville-Barton. All are situated on a ridge of pebbles left by a glacier as it retreated along the Médoc. Such well-drained corrugations provide perfect growing conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon vines.

On the western edge of the valley, summer temperatures average 15-18 degrees but may rise to 30 with clear skies. A true New World rose, with intense colour and mouthwatering red fruit characters. This fruity wine is best drunk well-chilled on a summer's day.

  Named as its light, delicate colour matches that of the eye of the Partridge, this is a subtley delicious Champagne from Devaux. Coming from the Cotes des Bars in the south of the region, the red Pinot Noir grapes develop an unusual level of ripeness, lending the wine its hue despite a gentle pressing. Although certainly delicate in style, there is a perfect weight of fruit, developing fine biscuity characteristics as the wine matures.
