Part of the Hotel occupies a wing of the majestic 15th century castle, declared a National Monument, bristling with towers and battlements. It rises over its medieval surroundings on thick stone walls, evoking the many historic events it witnessed in other eras, such as the establishment of a parliament under the Noble king, Carlos III.The medieval spirit is maintained in the interiors, with beautiful stained-glass windows, arches and ornamental details such as armour, tapestries, wrought-iron lamps and coffered wooden ceilings. The restaurant showcases the excellent local produce; the fresh asparagus and red peppers are especially recommended.
