Hostal Rom is a family run pension located at only 50 meters from Roses main beach and its magnificent sunset promenade. Furthermore, its placement in the towns central pedestrian zone makes shops, bars and restaurants of easy access to the hostels guests. Run by Maria Jose Rom with the help of her sons, the hostel offers single, double and three bed rooms, as well as generous family rooms for up to 4 and 5 family members. All rooms have bathrooms, heating, an in-room safe, comfortable beds and Ms Rom makes sure that the highest cleaning standards are applied everywhere. Other services offered are a mediterranean buffet host to many repeating guests, for both its food and location, a garden terrace which serves as well as a fresh and relaxing place to chill. Free parking (on request), a self service laundry and free wireless internet connection in public areas are also available. For all of the above Hostal Rom is an excellent host at very reasonable rates for anyone wanting to experience Roses as well as neighbouring places like Figueres and its Salvador Dali Museum, the pictoresque town of Cadaques, Cap de Creus, the monastery of St. Peter of Rhodos and other great spots the Costa Brava has to offer.

By car from the highway:Take exit 3 or 4 (Roses is signed on both exits) and follow signs to Roses. Once arriving in Roses drive always straight. Driving always straight you will drive along the city walls, after them continue straight until you find a large square (Catalonia Square) all along the left side of the road (on the right you will have the sea). At the end of this square turn left to drive around the square. After having driven around half the square you will see on the right hand side a bank called BBVA. Just before the bank turn right and follow the one way street for 150m until arriving in front of Hostal Rom. There you can only park for several minutes to leave your luggage. From there we will help you find a parking in town. From Girona Airport:Option A) Take a direct bus to Roses from the airport, once in Roses, ask for the tourism office and there they will guide you to us (Hostal Rom is at a 2 min walk from the tourism office). Option B) Take the bus into Girona, next to the Girona bus station is the train station, take any train to Figueres and once in Figueres go to the bus station which is next to the train station, take a bus to Roses, in Roses there is a stop at the tourism office, drop out there and walk next to the main sea front road past Hotel Marina (next to the tourism office) and Hotel Park. After Hotel Park take the 1st street to your left (Figueres Street). At the end of the street you will find Hostal Rom. (2 min walk)From Figueres train or bus station:In Figueres (bus station is next to the train station) take a bus to Roses, in Roses there is a stop at the tourism office, drop out there and walk next to the main sea front road past Hotel Marina (next to the tourism office) and Hotel Park. After Hotel Park take the 1st street to your left (Figueres Street). At the end of the street you will find Hostal Rom. (2 min walk)
