Mas Pratsevall in Taradell

The FarmhouseMas Pratsevall is an old stone farmhouse that dates from the early 1700s. Set on a hill overlooking the town of Taradell in La Plana de Vic and its surrounding area, Mas Pratsevall is very close to Montseny Natural Park. Originally dedicated to farming and stock-breeding, Mas Pratsevall has converted the rooms that were used for storing the grain and the animals into small self-contained rural houses, carefully restored for the comfort and rest of our guests. The rooms, with wooden beams and terracotta tiles, are decorated in a traditional style with rustic furniture which we have restored with utmost care. Mas Pratsevall still has reminders of the past. We continue to work the land and we have a farm with small animals, we cultivate our own seasonal products, we still have the haystack, and so on. We are surrounded by hundred-year-old oak trees and there is a large garden with charming, shady nooks and crannies. One of them has a spring from which ferrous water gushes forth, a spring which belongs to the farmhouse and which is greatly valued for its medicinal properties by the people in the region.
