From Lisbon:Take the A1 highway north,exit at Torres Novas (A23).Followthe A23 and,past the city of Castelo Branco,take the CovilhSouth exit.Drive to the centre of town and look for the route toSerra da Estrela.(Travelling time:+-2 and a half hours)From PortoAveiro:Take the A1 highway south.At Albergaria,follow the A25,in thedirection of Viseu.Past the Guarda exit (still on the A25 route),drive through to Covilh,on the A23.Take the Covilh North exit,and drive to the centre of town.Look for the route to Serra da Estrela.(Travelling time:+-2 hours and 50 minutes)From Coimbra:Take the IC2 route travelling north.Get on the IP3 route,drivingto Viseu.Turn right before you reach Santa Comba Do,in thedirection of Mangualde.Follow the A25 and,past the Guarda exit(still on the A25 route),take the Covilh North exit.Drive to thecentre of town and look for the route to Serra da Estrela.(Travelling time:+-2 and a half hours)From the Algarve:Take the A2 highway in the direction of Lisbon,going through CastroVerde to Marateca.Exit to take the A13 N119 until you reachInfantado,following the N10 until Vila Franca de Xira.Then take theA1 highway north,and exit at Torres Novas (A23).Follow the A23and,past the city of Castelo Branco,take the Covilh South exit.Drive to the centre of town and look for the route to Serra da Estrela.(Travelling time:+-4 hours and 45 minutes)
