Access to Porto Santo can be made by plane from Lisbon, Oporto or Funchal, or by ferry boat from Madeira Island.The flight from Lisbon takes about 90 minutes and from Funchal only 15 minutes. The boat crossing between the two islands, a pleasant combination of transportation with a mini atlantic cruise, takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes.
