Only 1.5 hours from Auckland International Airport, The Heights is a special retreat where you can pamper yourself your first or last evening in NZ or while exploring the Coromandel and Waikato.Named after its mountainside location, The Heights was built in the 1980s as the family home for one of the towns most imaginative builders. He is known for his intriguing architectural touches, and as you wander through The Heights youll be charmed by the little additions hes made to the house to make it unique. Although weve modernized the dcor and upgraded the guest accommodation to luxury standards, weve tried to maintain the homes cosy, cottagey feel.Our home is decorated with antiques and family heirlooms. Youll find a little guide to the house in your room that will tell you about some of the more interesting pieces.

From AucklandTake State Highway SH 1 on the Southern Motorway to Bombay, turn left onto SH2 and follow the signs to Thames via SH25. In Thames turn right into Bank Street, then right into Parawai Rd and finaly left into Grafton Road - we are on the right, across from where Millington Place joins Grafton Road.From the SouthTake Route 26 through Paeroa to Kopu, where it joins with Route 25 north into Thames. Follow the directions from Route 25 to The Heights. In Thames turn right into Bank Street, then right into Parawai Rd and finaly left into Grafton Road - we are on the right, across from where Millington Place joins Grafton Road.From Coromandel TownTake State Highway SH25 to Thames.
