Riad Saba is a calm oasis in the middle of the bustling medina. You are within 7 min. walk to the famous square Jemma el Fna, to Palace Bahia and the enormous bazar so called the souk. Enjoy Marrakech from a centrally located riad with unusually large guestrooms. Start your day with a delicious breakfast served on the rooftop. Riad Saba is a traditional Moorish house with a central courtyard open to the sky and decorated with fountain and exotic plants. It took five years of renovation with local craftsmen and artists, to create this little oasis for discerning travelers who want to experience Marrakech from an oriental home with friendly atmosphere. Riad Saba has 5 large and comfortable guestrooms. Each room is decorated in its own style and all rooms have ensuite bathroom, AC and heating and wifi Internet. In most rooms you can choose if you want the beds as a double bed or two twin beds. Many of our guests point out our strong points as being: Understated and cosy decor, personal service and lavish breakfasts. Riad Saba has a lot of common space that guests are encouraged to make use of:-A large living room with library of music and books as well as satellite TV, dvds and computer.-An elegant diningroom under the arcades by the patio. - Rooftop under the African sky with sunchairs, shower, plants, several cosy corners as well as a shaded dining area where the lavish breakfasts are served. Riad Saba is non-smoking however we invite our guests to smoke on the rooftop. Riad Saba is one of the very few riads to which you can take a taxi or drive all the way to the door. We also have guarded parking just outside. The basic premise of Riad Saba is hospitality of a more individual kind. When we greet a guest, we feel - and want them to feel - that they have been invited into a home. Our tone is courteous, yet familiar and informal, and we enjoy a feeling of community between guests and hotel. We will do our absolute best to make your time here absolutely wonderful: a breakfast on the sunny rooftop, a candlelight dinner by the arcades or a glass by the fireplace in the large livingroom.- Moments that we hope will create happy memories from Marrakech.We place great importance on good traditional Moroccan cooking, comfortable beds and the warmest of welcomes, all within a delightful and elegant environment. Riad Saba is located in the heart of the medina, about a five minute stroll from the famous Jemaa el Fna. By taxi or car: Enter the medina from the southern door BAB GHMAT take an immediate left in the door then an immediate right just after entering. This will lead you to a mainstreet with lots of local shops. Follow this street for a while and take the very first possible turn to the left. This is just after the school LYCEE MOHAMED V Go straight, pass a small crossing with a carpark on you left, continue straight until you cannot possibly drive any further. That will be on the square of DOUAR GRAOUA Riad Saba is the newly painted house on your right. Go down the alley DERB CHERKAOUI ring on the first (black) door on you left. -Welcome!From Jema El Fnaa: Got to Cafe de France on the the big square, take a right onto rue des banques a few steps later this street is called rue riad zitoun jdid Follow this mainstreet until it opens up to a tiny square with one palmtree and a small shop called Jamade. Take left here. Follow this street ( without any shops) until it opens up to a slightly bigger square with palmtrees and cars. Riad Saba is the newly painted house on the left side of this square. Go down the alley DERB CHERKAOUI ring on the first (black) door on you left. -Welcome!
