Airport to Hotels by bus (public transportFirst you must go from the airport to Valletta Terminus. Then from Terminus to HotelIt is a good idea to have the right change. There is an ATM and a bank in the arrivals building,The standard bus fare is 0.20c per journey. Do not buy the day card. It is bad value.Bus no. 8. goes to Valletta Terminus and departs every 30 mins. Cost is Lm 0.20. There may be a small charge for the luggage. The bus stop is situated just opposite the Departure Building, adjacent to the Arrival Building. To get to the Departure Building, exit arrival building and turn right, walk about 50m parallel to the road. You should see a small shelter with Bus Stop sign across the road.Once arrived at the Valletta Bus Terminus take bus numbers 66, 62, 67 or 68; they pass by Sliema Ferries; the bus turns up a narrow shopping street and then emerges on a second sea promenade. You will see a stone Tower (Torri) on the right and the road makes a sharp left. Get off the bus at the next stop and walk back to the sharp bend. Take Dingli Street, now on your right. Metropole is 100m on the right

It is like a few blocks in a sleepy suburb of St Julians that comes to life at night. There were people absolutely everywhere spilling onto the streets between various nightclubs and bars. I mean it is not unlike King's Cross in ... Christina is on a working holiday and has a job in one of the 5 star hotels on the island of Gozo. We are planning to catch up again some time soon which is great, sorry mum, she is not a Maltese girl but I met her here...does that count? : ) ...
