The residence is on 2 floors with a roof terrace paved in hand painted tiles, providing a view of the typical terracotta tiled roof tops and a glimpse of the sea.The first floor is reached by the original marble staircase typical of the period. The reception room has carved stone arches, the stone is from nearby Palazzolo, all the French windows and windows are framed in the same stone. The archway through to the corridor is framed in old ochre coloured tufo stone, known as Pietra Giurgelena, a characteristic of the houses in the historic centre.The features of the rooms on the first floor are the old vaulted ceilings which were constructed by using bamboo canes and then chalk, they are decorated with hand painted borders as well as central motifs around the central light fittings.The second floor is reached by a chestnut wood staircase with a carved hand rail, the balustrading being decorated with touches of paint work in old gold. The central lights and wall appliqus in the rooms as well as the corridors are all matching. The wooden ceilings of the rooms have mahogany coloured wooden beams which show the markings and knots of the wood, giving a warmth to the rooms. From this floor, a transparent glass staircase can be seen, this leads to the owners apartment.

After arriving by plane at the International Airport of Catania, it is possible to reach Siracusa by taxi or bus (by Interbus company, leaving about every hour and half). By car: Siracusa is 50 minutes far away through the S.S. 114 (called Orientale Sicula); exit Siracusa Sud. When you arrive at the cross-road turn right, keep ahead through Viale Ermocrate until you reach Piazza Marconi (Marconi Square); keep ahead until the bridge; after the bridge, take the second on the left. Pass the main street and take the third on the right. Keep ahead in Via Vittorio Veneto: at the end of it, you reach a square. You arrived: Via Mirabella is the first on the right, 30 metres on foot.
