Travelling on the A1 motorway, exit at Firenze Certosa and turn immediately left, in the direction of Florence centro (centre). You will pass a village called Galluzzo; continue straight ahead for about 5 kilometers in the direction of Porta Romana (Porta Romana Square). When you arrive in the square, take the first right into Viale Machiavelli. Continue straight ahead and take the second right into Via Michele di Lando, where Hotel Villa Carlotta is located on the left hand side of the road.From the central railway station of Santa Maria Novella, a taxi to the hotel will take about 10 minutes. Alternatively, you can take a bus, either number 36 or 37 to Porta Romana. Get off the bus just before the old city gates. Walk through the arch and take the first left into Viale Machiavelli. After about 200 metres, turn right into Via Michele di Lando, where the hotel is located on the left hand side of the road.
