Globetrotter is located in the historical center of Catania, between the old fish market and Ursino castle, 100m from Duomo square, cathedral and via Etnea. In this lively aerea you ca find the main monuments, a lot of restaurants,pubs and disco.The airport is 15 minutes by car from Band B and 5 minutes from railway station and port.Rooms are very confortable with ensuite bathroom, air conditioning, TV,DVD, internet wireless, hairdryer . In the same area we also have independent apartment with fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, air conditioning, Tv, free internet.BandB Globetrotter was started by Daniele, an ex Erasmus student in Salamanca, who wanted to find a place where people from over all the world could come to discover Catania and Sicily and to experience the Sicilian way of life.Globetrotters aim is to enable our guests to visit and live our beautiful city, to help them to discover more about the culture and the way we enjoy Catania. We hope that through our help you will be able to discoverthis city in the best way possible. Throughout the year Daniele and his friends arrange dinner parties, excursions, skiing, swimming, scuba-diving and all the most important things which represent our city.We are very friendly here and will help you with any problems you have as soon as you arrive and we like to get to know our guests over good cup of coffee or tea. We will give you a map of the city and any information you need for your stay. We know all about about the city, and it would be our pleasure to advise you about anything you need. We also organize social and cultural events with our guests and friends if you would like to participate.

by car you can reach the historical centre to the Duomo Square-Ursino Castle-Pesqueria following the map above. We advise you to get to the BandB after 13:30 because parking problems can be caused as the fish market closes at that particular hour.From the arrival point at the airport you can catch a bus every 20 minutes to get to the city center (from 5:00 till 24:00) which will reach the historical centre in about 15 minutes, ask the driver to go to the Duomo Square then to Mazzini?s Square and then Via Auteri 40-Vicolo della Lanterna 14 (5 minutes walking).from the railway station you have to get a bus, (431-439-427) which will bring you to the Duomo Square in 10 minutes, then go to Mazzini?s Square and Via Auteri 40-Vicolo della Lanterna 14 (5 minutes walking).
