The Baglio S. Vincenzo, situated on a promontory, overlooks the Vallone, through which, in the homonymous land lying to the north-east of Menfi (Ag), runs the S. Vincenzo river. The Baglio (name for ancient sicilian farms) is surrounded with 12 hills contained between the Belice valley naturalistic preserve and the Carboj valley that degrade towards the Mar d Africa. The landscape is characterized by the alternation of vineyards, olive groves, citrus orchards, brooms and daisies, carobs and a valuable variety of prickly pears from Santa Margherita del Belice, which was imported from America more than five centuries ago. Strong typical Mediterranean colors are against a light blue sky and a blue sea setting. Sometime, on clear days, you can see the Tunisian coast and admire spectacular sunsets from the Baglio. During the night, instead, a blanket of little lights, from Castelvetrano to Selinunte, Sciacca e Porto Palo, twinkle in the silence. The Baglio is in the center of a territory that is named for its archaeological, monumental, rural and bathing characteristics, even at a national level. The farest destination take one hour maximum by car. The baths of Sciacca are 15 minutes far, then The Baglio is the ideal place even for those who wants to have mineral water therapy.

A road system connects the Baglio to the AgrigentoCastelvetrano motorway. From this motorway you can reach the highway 29 Palermo-Mazara del Vallo that connects big ports of the western Sicily like Palermo, Trapani, Mazara del Vallo and two airports: Falcone and Borsellino and Birgi.If you come from the north of the island you can get to the Baglio covering the national road Palermo-Sciacca and, after the subway nr 28, turning down a southward street which crosses a private estate (Via Ischia). Coming from the south (Menfi), you can reach the Baglio covering the ex 115 road towards Sciacca for four kilometres, then turning down the street which crosses the estate (via Ischia).
