Your stay at the Vecchia Marina Hotel is characterized by the crystal-clear sea and beautiful sandy beaches that surround it. Situated only 300 meters away from the picturesque Porto Frailis beach, this intimate hotel only has 21 rooms all classically furnished in a typical Sardinian style complete with classic Sardinian shutters. All furnishings are hand-made by a local carpenter. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful Mediterranean gardens. A rich buffet breakfast greets you every morning consisting largely of delicious home-made cakes! You will really feel like you have found your own, small piece of paradise. By Boat: Arbatax port is 1 km from the hotel. All year long there are ferries from Civitavecchia, Fiumicino and Genoa, operated by Tirrenia Ferries. During the summer there are also fast ferries from Fiumicino. From OlbiaGolfo Aranci (airport and port): - The journey to Arbatax takes approximately 2 hours, whereas from Alghero it takes 2.5 hours. - Take the 131 road, first towards Cagliari, and then towards Nuoro, where you have to leave the main road. - Take the 389 road, following the signs to Tortol and Lanusei. And finally, take the 198 road to Tortol. From Cagliari (airport and port)- 1.5 hours: - Follow the signs to Poetto and Villasimius (554 road). - Drive towards S. Barbara and finally take the new 125 road to Cardedu, from where you can follow the signs to Tortol.By Plane: From Tortol airport (2 km from the hotel): The flights landing here are all little charter flights, which can be booked by a tour operator.
