Location :Saint-Raphal is halfway between Saint-Tropez and Cannes, which are about 20 miles by road. The A8 motorway is the quickest ; the RN7 is cross-country and leisurely, wending through beautiful landscapes ; and the Corniche dOr, as it winds round the Coastline, provides scenery quite superb, the deep blue of the Mediterranean Sea contrasting with the reddish brown of the Esterel hills.Situation : The Hotel Continental situated on the first floor of a prestigious residence in the center of Saint Raphael faces onto a wide boulevard, beyond which is the beach, less than 50 yards from the front door. There are many sea-facing restaurants and bars alongside the hotel. The Casino is only 150 yards down the front, and beyond it lies the picturesque and well-ordered harbour, from which boat trips are run to other resorts such as Saint-Tropez or Port-Grimaud.Immediately behind the hotel are the streets of this charming old town, leading quickly to the main square and then the railway station, less than a quarter of a mile away.Amenities :The Hotel Continental opened on 7th July 1993. It was designed and built specifically to 3 STARS standards of comfort and facilities, yet retaining old ideals of quality and service. This is exemplified by the interested and personal welcome shown by the proprietor and all staff, who are happy to help whenever they can.Accommodation :The Hotel has 44 spacious rooms which vary in size but not in quality.Each room has either a large double or twin beds. A third bed can be put into most of the rooms. Each bedroom has facilities including hair-dryer, Television with Satellite French and Foreign Channels, Wi-fi, Minibar, Safe and individual air-conditioning.Four of the rooms can be converted to be 2 en-suite.The hotel is 100% non smoking.The Hotel has its own private locked garage in the basement with direct lift access to the Reception area and bedrooms.
