Inter Hotel " Le Chinon " in Saint-Lazare (France)

A well-situated modern hotel on the edge of Chinon, a delightful town with an amazingly well-preserved medieval centre dominated by a spectacular chteau. The hotel itself is across the river, 10 minutes walk from the chteau, and set in parkland near all the towns sports facilities - excellent for that early morning jog or swim! All rooms are medium-sized with the doubles facing the chteau, and the twins facing the park. Five family rooms are available with four beds and a terrace. All rooms have pleasant modern dcor, TV with English language channels and mini-bar. There are two specially adapted disabled rooms. Bar and small lounge downstairs with large restaurant and terrace where they hold barbecues in the summer, and a heated outdoor pool. Ample external parking. This is a good quality, good value hotel for a stay visiting the chteaux of the Loire, situated in a very pleasant town and a calm and relaxing environment. The hotel closes from 20th December to 20th January.
