The Daintree Rainforest Retreat is a small boutique villa style Motel situated in the heart of the World Heritage listed DaintreeCape Tribulation National Park. Our quiet, 10 Unit Motel rests on 1 hectare (2.5 acres) of tropical gardens which is home to a variety of plants and wildlife. All guests can enjoy a swim in our large pool or a meal in our Drunken Frog Restaurant or self cater in the free gas BBQ area. We are situated in the heart of Cow Bay, just 10 klm north of the ferry crossing , and are central to all Daintree activities. We are within walking distance from the Number 1 attraction, the Daintree Discovery Center. Across from us is the Cow Bay Hotel and the Floravilla Gallery, featuring the works of local artists. We are also a short drive to the quiet and pristine Cow Bay Beach. We know (because many of our guests tell us so) that we offer the best value for money accommodation on the Daintree Coast!

Follow Captain Cook Highway north from Cairns through Mossman and follow the signs to Cape Tribulation. Turn right at the sign for the Ferry Crossing and Cape Tribulation. After you have crossed the Daintree River via the ferry, follow Cape Tribulation Road to Cow Bay. The Retreat is located on the left hand side of the road as you enter Cow Bay and is 10 klms north of the Ferry Crossing.
